HALE-BOPP COMET

I mean I will never forget those days.
These photos were sent me by my favourite friend
MARIA MAGDALENA from Mexico.
On the beautiful pictures can be seen the HALE-BOPP COMET
On the next fantastic photo the comet can be seen in the Aurora Borealis of night sky of Alaska.
I think so this photo is the best picture of the Hale-Bopp comet.
Maria said: It looks like a wonderful painting.
I mean that she is right...

JUST AS A RELAXATION
I hope you will like it...
Here is a nice illusion from my favourite album.
Is it just a word or just a face?

ROCK TEMPLE IN PETRA
The Nabataeans - they are well-known for us from the Bible - made wonderful buildings in the today's area of Jordan about 2-3 thousand years ago.
In Jordan Petra is a beautiful rock temple from the

Petra lies on the edges of the mountainous desert of the Wadi Araba.
The city is surrounded by towering hills of rust coloured sandstone wich gave the city some natural protection against invaders.
The site is semi-arid, the friable sandstone wich allowed the Nabataeans to carve their temples and tombs into the rock crumbling easily to sand.

I think so that temple of hewn stones is the one of the most marvellous composition in the world.
I have not seen it yet so far, but we would like to see in the next year.

Ezekhez fogható, monumentális szakrális célu épitmény a kitünö épségben fennmaradt, többezer éves sziklatemplom, melyet a jordániai Petra városa mellett, magas hegyek oltalmában, homokköböl faragtak ki az ókori épitömesterek.
Fantasztikusan gyönyörü látvány, a maga nemében méltán számit az emberiség egyik legszebb, szinte müvészi alkotásának.

ROSES' GARDEN
We have some wonderful red rose bushes in our small roses' garden.
I love the red rose, of course my favourite red-red wine, red hot chilli peppers and no red star.
And nowadays I wish just a few red card in the football World Cup in Germany.

Érzed az illatát?

A FACE ON THE MARS
On it can be seen very well a hill that looks like than a human face.
The official point of view is that this hill has been eroded by the wind.
Some of people think so it was created by aliens as a sign for the later civilisations.
What is the truth?
I think so that is a strange creature of the nature (or alians?). Look at this photo well and don't forget: we never can be alone in the Universe!

A tájból magányosan kiemelkedö, szinte emberi arcot formázó alakzat feladta a leckét a tudósoknak, a mai napig folyik a vita róla, hogy a szél eróziója csiszolta az évmilliók alatt ilyen formájura, vagy, netán idegen civilizáció hagyta az utókorra, mintegy jelként a sokszáz kilométeres magasságból is jól azonositható objektumot.

DO YOU KNOW THE MOEBIUS BAND?
The mathematician Auguste Ferdinand Moebius (1790-1886) discovered the one-sided surface that became known as the Moebius Strip or Moebius Band.
The Moebius Strip, however, is not an illusion. It can be modeled in 3D and its topological features can be explored using an interactive computer model.
A simple endless band in the form of belt-shaped loop (below left) has two distinct surfaces and two edges. Moving from one surface to the opposite site requires crossing one of the edges.

Amazingly, the band has only one surface and only one edge. Moving along the surface (like Escher's ants) will bring you to the opposite site without crossing the edge.
I mean that the famous Moebius Band is one of the milestones of the human knowledge. But it is a neverending story...

TRIANON, 4. JUN. 1920.
Before the 1th world war was a small mountain village in the north part of country, named Somosko.
After the lost war the Great Powers partitioned our county, Hungary. The frontier-line was marked out so that it divided into two parts this small village. The houses - it can be seen on the picture - remained in Hungary the castle of the village become a part of Czechoslovakia.
That is a very strange status for the people of village (and of course for the Hungarian ones) because if they want to go to the castle they need to show the passport.
This history was made by the foreign powers but not for the Hungarian people.
And it is a very sad story....

A kis hegyifaluhoz gyönyörü vár, illetve várrom, világritkaságnak számitó vulkanikus képzödmény, bazaltömlés tartozott.
A nagyhatalmak ugy huzták meg a határvonalat Trianonban, hogy ketté választották a falut, a házak - a képen nagyon jól látható - Magyarországon maradtak, a mellette lévö várat pedig Csehszlovákiához csatolták.
Magyarországról a vár jelenleg is csak érvényes utiokmányokkal látogatható, ami rendkivül szomoru dolog.
