IN THE HOT SUMMERTIME

This summer is very hot in Hungary the temperature is sometimes more than 35 Celsius degrees.
That is almost unbearable hot for the European people.
We live in a crowded and noisy small town,
but the surrounding of city is in abundance
with nice hiking places.

In these hot days we are often walking on the shady ways
in the surroundings of town groves and woods
spending pleasant hours there.
Among other things
there are a few wonderful historical
places in those hills.

Standing on the top
of hills we can see
the far sceneries of
the neighbouring country Slovakia too.
There can be found several
cool clearwater springs
in those neary nice hills. And of course quiet, silence and birdsong....

After the relaxation day
on late afternoon often we can see
wonderful sunset over the surrounding hills of the town.
These pictures are made with my
camera phone on the hikings.

Ebben az évben Magyarországon nagyon forró, csaknem elviselhetetlen a nyári hömérséklet. Mi abban a szerencsés helyzetben vagyunk, hogy a városunk környéke bövelkedik árnyas, ligetes, hüvös erdökkel, hegyekkel. Ezekben a meleg napokban gyakran kerestünk menedéket a környékbeli erdei kirándulóhelyeken, ahol jéghideg forrásvizzel hüsithettük magunkat. Nagyon kikapcsoló és csodálatos élményeket adó kirándulásokat szoktunk tenni a környéken.

MY BLUE CAR

Nemrégiben láttunk egy videofilmet, melyben az autókereskedö széles mosollyal rámutatott a kedvenc rózsaszin autójára, mondván: "Kék!".
Ugyanis vak volt....

HUNGARIAN LEAD-GLASS....

First of all: while I am writing this section of our blog I am listening to a marvellous exotic soft turkish music CD.Our town is the one of the 'citadels' of Hungarian glass manufacturing. Edith would like to show a few very nice Hungarian lead-glass products.The colourized and ground lead-glass manufacturing is an old tradition in the Hungarian glass-art.

I hope that these photos of our world-famous glass artworks give you some pleasant and joyful minutes in this raging world.

A mi városunk a magyar üveggyártás egyik fellegvára, amint az egyik elözö részben be is számoltunk már róla. Most itt bemutatunk néhány jellemzöen magyar, szinezett, csiszolt ólomkristály produkciót, melyek méltán prezentálják a müvészi szintü magyar üvegipart. A jövöben szeretnénk idöt szentelni az ugyancsak rendkivül látványos hazai kézzel festett üvegcsodáknak is.

AS A RELAX....

I usually very love the masterpieces of human way of thinking.
I mean the creating of optical illusions are fantastic things what only the well-thinking ones able to make.
I think so the IMPOSSIBLE TRIANGLE is the one of those masterpieces, it is a marvellous creation and my most favourite optical illusion. I hope you will like it!

Mindig csodálattal tölt el az emberi fantázia, alkotókészség fantasztikus megnyilvánulása. Ezek közé tartoznak az optikai illuziók, melyek számos példája bizonyitja a gondolkodó ember szárnyaló fantáziavilágát.

SECRETS.... HIERONYMUS BOSCH

My favourite painter is a Dutch artist
HIERONYMUS BOSCH.
He has lived in that time period what I mean to be the
mysterious Middle Ages,
about from 1450 till 1516.
His main artwork is the most inventive fantasy painting,

The Garden of Earthly Delights.
(Prado, Madrid)

In my opinion that: it is still the greatest painting all around the world.

Bosch was the first of the painters who painted black-white oil (!) pictures in the Middle Ages.

He was a mysterious artist with mighty intellectual powers.
I recommend his paintings to everybody's attention.

A titokzatos 15. század történéseihez illeszkedik egy németalföldi festö, Hieronymus Bosch munkássága. Fantáziadus, gyönyörü festményei messze kiemelkednek a korra jellemzö müvészeti stilusokból. Méltán világhirü képe, a Földi gyönyörök kertje cimü triptichon, mely számunkra is a legkedvesebb, órákat el lehet tölteni elötte, mégsem lehet betelni vele. Boschra jellemzö még, hogy alkotásaiban sokszor olyan tárgyak is láthatóak, amelyek évszázadokkal késöbb voltak használatosak. De erröl majd késöbb....

OUR MINI CITY

We live in the north part of Hungary in a small town.
I thought that I show a few pictures of our loved town.
Our mini city is situated in a long valley surrounded very nice hills.
It has several nice modern buildings mostly from the second half of 20th century.
It is an old industrial town with a lot of factories.
There is, among other things, a world-famous glass-works, where are made the beautiful, colourful Roamer crystal-chalices.
In the town can be found an original mining museum under the ground.
These photos show some of parts of the centre of town.
In the surroundings of the city are several wonderful excursion places and marvellous castles from the ancient time periods.
Those places can be visited in all of seasons.
We like to sit down in the shady parks, to talk different people or just to relax a little....
Our small city is a modern but very old one.
We very like to live in it.

Mi egy észak-magyarországi, hazai méretek szerint közepes nagyságu városban élünk. A mult század hatvanas éveitöl fogva folyamatosan átalakult a város, eltüntek a belváros földszintes házai, helyet adva a 8-10 emeletes modern épületeknek. Mivel egy hosszu völgyben terül el a város, szép hegyek ölelésében, különös hangulatot ad az ideérkezö látogatóknak. A város vonzáskörzetében nagyon szép várromok találhatók, melyekröl a késöbbiekben szeretnénk képes ismertetöt késziteni.
